Cyberculture

Everything about us is on the Internet. Whether it is our email or our phone number on Facebook to pictures of what we look like and the high school we went to on Myspace it’s a terrifying thing we call cyber culture. I was introduced to cyber culture in my freshman year of high school and thought of it as a cool way to interact with friends and let people know about you but I had no idea that it would blow up and the whole world would be using it multiple times a day. A few years after that I was introduced to a new virtual community, and that was the online gaming community for the video game World of Warcraft. I didn't like the game so I stayed away from it but it’s hard to believe people devote their whole days to playing this game. Right now i still have the same myspace since freshman year of high school and have just recently made a facebook. I check both of them everyday so i guess you can say I am an addict?? Cyber culture and the virtual community have gone beyond my expectations and have let me talk to people that i thought i would have never ever spoke too.

group defining of pop culture

Pop culture is the way we express ourself whether it be the clothes we wear, the music we listen to, sports, television shows we watch, hair styles, and the technology we use. We also get influenced by the celebrities, if we see them wearing a certain style of clothing we have to have those kind of clothes. Pop culture is a part of everyday life we use our cell phones, computers, and mp3 players everyday. A lot of our pop culture comes from what we see on television.

snap crackle pop culture!

Whether you know it or not pop culture has effected the way you live in some way. It can be anything from the clothes we wear, the shows we watch on TV, or the music we listen to pop culture has changed our ways. Pop culture didn't change the groups of friends I used to hangout with back in high school I got along with everyone but it can change them depending on what you believe is the normal group of friends. Another big form of pop culture is the reality shows that are being made these days. They are some of the most ridiculous shows you could ever think of but the American people get hooked on them. Music effects pop culture too. Everyone has a different taste in music and this could be the reason you hangout with the group of people that you do. The media effects pop culture the most, the media tries to get you to believe everything and not think outside the box on what is normal in our society. We can't define what normal is we just believe it is what the media says it is.
